Avelice Asansör, established in 2015 and operates in its production plant with a total area of 10,000 square meters, of which 3,000 square meters is closed, in Iğdır Organized Industrial Zone is the only elevator factory in the Eastern Anatolia Region that produces package elevators and equipment.

Avelice produces according to the elevator standards applicable in Turkey and in the world, by getting the necessary infrastructure support from companies that have gained experience in the field of elevator production.

Zafer Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Avelice Asansör said, "We design our products in computer environment with 'CAD' programs and produce them perfectly." and noted that the production of passenger elevators, freight elevators, stretcher elevators, service elevators and sales of elevator materials are their fields of activity. Zafer Aydın noted that Avelice Asansör exports extensively to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Nakhchivan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Ukraine and Turkic Republics and added that "We benefit from the advantages of our plant being in Iğdır which is considered as Turkey's gateway to Asia and the Caucasus, in our export activities. We also export to African countries such as Kenya and Nigeria. The fact that Iğdır is within the scope of the 6th region investment incentive played an important role in establishing our plant at this location. Being located on the Silk Road provides transportation advantage for the regions where we export heavily. In addition, Avelice Asansör continues its activities both in the domestic and international markets by strengthening its position in the elevator producing market with the support of its personnel."

Zafer Aydın noted that the production plants are in the east of Turkey and on the Silk Road therefore they are close to the Caucasus and Asia which increases their advantages in transportation costs. He also stated that their wide product range, their ability to provide early deadlines through the stocked product endeavors, and the customer satisfaction ensured by on-time delivery were effective in the preference of Avelice Asansör.

Zafer Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Avelice Asansör, provided the following information about production plants, machine park and the employment in their company; "Our production process continues with TP63 punch, TP4200 press brake bending, VS 4008 scissors, 220 Lt static paint, automatic spot welding, T63 60 tons press, scissors, press brake bending and small industry hand tools in our plant, established on a total area of 10,000 square meters with an indoor area of 3,000 square meters. I would especially like to point out that we carry on our activities with 30 personnel, 8 of whom are female.

- In the first 6 months of 2021, we increased our exports by 300 percent compared to the entire year of 2020.
Zafer Aydın noted that due to Kovid-19, which influenced our lives in 2020, the disruptions in production in the western regions and the delays in deadlines did not occur in Avelice Asansör, so they turned the pandemic in an advantage, and continued his words as follows: "In 2020, we increased our exports by 35 percent compared to the previous year. In 2021, we managed to increase our exports by 300 percent in the first 6 months, by adding the quality we offered to our customers on top of the opportunities we had in 2020. To take the developing economy of our country one step further and to be among the most developed economies in the 100th anniversary of the Republic, we aim even more important achievements in the field of exports within the framework of 2023 targets.

We carried the quality of Avelice Asansör to the Marmara Region through our Yalova Branch, opened in early 2021. We aim to increase our market share both in the domestic and international markets by increasing the awareness about Avelice Asansör through our Branch established in Yalova. 

- The turnover we achieved in the first 6 months of 2021 tripled the entire year of 2020- 2021. 

As Avelice Asansör, we did not experience the turnover loss experienced by many companies due to the recession in the 2020 pandemic process. In 2020, when the pandemic and economic turmoil were at its peak, we achieved the same turnover as 2019. When we come to 2021, we tripled our 2020 turnover in the first 6 months of 2021. 

Our goal is to increase our turnover to 5 times more of 2020 in the entire year of 2021.

- Raw material supply and increasing prices put the sector in trouble
Problems in the supply of raw materials and constantly increasing prices affect our industry negatively. I believe that this problem will be settled by getting rid of the stainless dependency as much as possible and relieving the market by turning to own resources without being dependent on foreign sources.
