Efelift Elevator and Vini Disability Systems to open new markets in 2025
2024 was a period of economic fluctuations and increased global competition for the elevator industry. Cihan Gökçeoğlu from Efelift Elevator and Vini Disabled Systems stated that the recession in the markets and high interest rates made business processes difficult, but these difficulties were overcome with machine incentives and sustainable investments. Emphasizing that Homelift systems have become an important element that adds value to residences, Gökçeoğlu stated that the company has made its sales and marketing activities more effective.
Although the desired level of exports has not been fully achieved, significant progress has been made in the Croatian, Romanian and Georgian markets. Stating that the Turkish elevator industry has strengthened in global competition thanks to increased product quality and cost advantages, Gökçeoğlu said that investments in the industry support value-added production.
Within the scope of sustainability, the company invested in a Solar Power Plant (SPP) in 2024 and benefited from incentives under the Green Industry Program. Steps such as reducing fossil fuel consumption, minimizing the use of packaging and minimizing environmental impacts by cooperating with suppliers were taken.
For 2025, the company's main goals are to increase its market share, make production processes more efficient through automation, and expand into new markets through international collaborations. Gökçeoğlu stated that they continue to improve their products in line with customer feedback and that the sales department conducts comprehensive studies to reach the right customer base.
Stating that artificial intelligence is one of the biggest opportunities that can revolutionize the elevator industry, Gökçeoğlu emphasized that the biggest threat of the sector is the lack of qualified personnel and the decreasing interest of the younger generation in the sector. Stating that the company aims to reach a stronger position in the global market, increase sustainability investments and develop technology-oriented solutions, Gökçeoğlu said that they plan to further increase their competitiveness with an environmentally friendly and innovative production approach by 2025.
