ELEVEX 2026: Wider participation and new opportunities

The ELEVEX Konya Elevator and Technology Fair, which opened its doors for the first time in 2024, was a notable event not only for Turkey but also for the regional and international elevator industry. Held from May 22–25 at the Konya Chamber of Commerce – TÜYAP

Konya International Fair Center, the fair featured a 38,000-square-meter exhibition area, 203 participating companies and 21,507 visitors from 45 countries, making a significant impact on the industry.

Participating companies agreed that ELEVEX served not only as a platform for product but also as a strong platform for new business collaborations and export opportunities. The diverse range of products on display spanned from residential and commercial building elevators to hospital solutions, compact indoor systems and highcapacity cargo elevators. Additionally, innovative solutions such as moving walkways, accessible platforms and smart control systems were introduced for the first time at the event.

One of the most significant achievements of ELEVEX 2024 was the fair being awarded the “Qualified Fair” status by the Turkish Ministry of Trade. This designation enabled the fair to be included in the visit programs of buyer delegations from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Turkic Republics. As a result, Konya has become an important hub not only for the Turkish market but also for the global vertical transportation sector.

The satisfaction rate measured among participants and organizers reached a high level of 92%. This figüre demonstrates that ELEVEX has already met the professional expectations of the sector in its first year and is on its way to becoming a sustainable trade fair brand. This success has raised the bar even higher for ELEVEX 2026. Konya is now not only a strong production hub but also one of the strategic showcases for international vertical transportation technologies.

ELEVEX 2026: Wider participation and new opportunities Having garnered significant interest with its first edition, ELEVEX is returning with an even more ambitious organization for its second gathering. Scheduled to take place from May 6–9, 2026, at the Konya Chamber of Commerce – TÜYAP Konya International Fair Center, ELEVEX 2026 will host a larger event across a 66,000-square-meter area.

The fair is expected to see a significant increase in the number of participating companies and foreign visitors, making it a unique showcase for companies aiming to expand into international markets. ELEVEX 2026 will not only showcase products but also serve as a platform for business development, technological collaboration and knowledge sharing. Key topics will include sustainable vertical transportation solutions, smart control systems, energy-efficient motor and drive technologies and digital maintenance applications.

The fair will also feature sector- specific panels, technical seminars and B2B matching meetings, providing participants with both commercial and technical benefits. Konya's industrial infrastructure stands out as a key factor supporting the success of ELEVEX 2026. Approximately 200 elevator and equipment manufacturers operate in the city; 50% of Turkey's rail production and 80% of its motor production are sourced from Konya. According to 2023 Industrial Registry Data, Konya is one of the leading cities in Turkey's elevator sector in terms of the number of manufacturing companies and employees.

ELEVEX 2026, which will be held within this robust industrial ecosystem, will serve as a comprehensive technology showcase not only for final products but also for components and subsystems.

Additionally, Konya's experience in hosting exhibitions and its logistics infrastructure support the event's continued growth each year.

With its contributions to the city's economy, ELEVEX 2026 is on its way to becoming a strong hub that will enhance Turkey's global competitiveness in the vertical transportation sector.
