Please tell us about the measures that the company takes during the pandemic crisis

First of all, I would like to express my wish that the Covid-19 virus, which has turned into a global pandemic, will leave our life as soon as possible. Our measures included primarily decisions on the organization of the work process without reducing production and reflecting on the consumer. On the other hand, we have increased the volume of services offered in compliance with protective measures and social distance, we conduct regular disinfection 2 times a week, we provide the possibility of disinfection on the ground, we conduct regular temperature control. We hold meetings with our visitors with mandatory body-temperature control at the entrance, wearing masks and maintaining social distance, as well as tracking all records about the health of company representatives.

What are the biggest challenges and market opportunities when the Covid-19 outbreak turned into a pandemic?

At the company, we always evaluate the current situation at the national and global level. You need to know how to deal with the crisis in potential force majeure circumstances. Under these force majeure circumstances, elevator construction, as well as other industries, suffers from certain challenges in supply, healthcare and the economy. Nevertheless, companies prepared for such circumstances benefit more from the situation than those unprepared.

What do you think on the change in consumer behavior due to the pandemic and how will it affect the industry in the near future?

I do not think that our industry will be affected directly by the pandemic. As a result of the economic downturn caused by changes in economic indicators due to the pandemic, I think that consumers will be indirectly affected due to some restrictions on their domestic investments.

In connection with Covid-19, manufacturers turned to smart technologies and realized the importance of hygiene in elevators. Research and development innovation companies know that technology determines the future. How can you describe your developments in this direction?

We pay special attention to the use of the latest developments in both mechanical and electronic systems of our products. The technologies used in our products are limited by the need to touch the buttons by the user. Nevertheless, I am sure that the safety of using elevators, especially passenger elevators, first of all implies ease of operation and disinfection, as well as special attention to safety characteristics (non-flammability, resistance to breakage, safety of glass). Under such circumstances, one should not forget about the individual sensitivity of users in public places.
