Run on the world's leading trade fair for lift technology: Around 500 exhibitors expected at the interlift 2023
Very pleasing prospects for the interlift 2023: With more than 350 registrations in the meantime, the leading trade fair for the lift industry is already surpassing the previous event seven months before the start. The organiser AFAG is currently expecting around 500 participating companies - all the available halls at the Augsburg Trade Fair Centre will then be occupied. This means that the interlift is approaching the level of 2019 again, and in terms of internationality it could even set new standards.
interlift: the industry’s most international platform this year
The interlift 2023 will be the most international trade fair of the lift industry this year: the current share of 65% of foreign companies will grow once again if those involved in the international presentations are reported from Italy, China or India. Thus, there is a strong possibility that the high foreign share of 70% will even be surpassed among the exhibitors of 2019.
Italy leads the top 5 international participations with 16%, followed by Turkey with 14%, Spain (10%) and Switzerland and Austria with 3% each. This order will change shortly, however, when the registrations from China arrive, including a large joint participation with about 40 companies alone. And this time, too, new companies are discovering the interlift as a gateway to the world market: 9% of the exhibitors are coming to Augsburg for the first time.
Facelift for the interlift
Visitors to the interlift 2023 will probably notice two changes compared to previous fairs: Firstly, the changed block divisions and walkways in some halls. On the other hand, the new participation of the Wittur company in Hall 2.
Laurent Bourdichon, Wittur Group VP Sales EU, comments on Wittur's participation: "We have chosen the Interlift as a unique and prestigious meeting place to welcome our EU customers this year. Be surprised by a brand new 600 m² stand in Hall 2 with a special focus on modernisation and a new family of digital products."
