THE WHOLE SECTOR GATHERED IN EURO-LIFT 2018
After the successful holding of the second in 2016 at the exhibition center of Targi Kielce, the third exhibition of EURO-LIFT opened on October 2nd. The exhibition, which was held in parallel with “LOKUM EXPO”, became the elevator market of Eastern Europe for three days. The participants and visitors of the EURO-LIFT and LOKUM-EXPO exhibitions had an excellent opportunity to present and get acquainted with the best-selling products and equipment for moving over short distances.
In 2016, 18 countries with 108 stands of attendants were represented at the EURO-LIFT exhibition, which was held in Kielce. The EURO-LIFT exhibition gathers specialists in the field of elevator engineering and real estate and every year raises the standards and expands the scope of the event. From the point of view of participants and visitors, it has become an obligatory event in the work schedule of a specialist.
The Tarki Kielce Exhibition Center serves as a platform for presenting the latest developments in the elevator industry. The exhibition presents the latest high-demand products: the latest high-tech models of panoramic elevators, energy-efficient elevators running on solar energy and many more.
In addition to a comprehensive and voluminous presentation of the elevator building industry, the EURO-LIFT 2018 exhibition became a meeting point for the European Association of Elevators (ELA) and the National Association of Elevator Components Manufacturers (ANICA).
EURO-LIFT provides direct access to solution-oriented knowledge and speciality.
At the EURO-LIFT exhibition, leading industry experts in Poland also conducted training events. Moreover, the exhibition attendants were given the opportunity to attend conferences held as part of the related exhibition for the maintenance of residential real estate "LOKUM-EXPO".
The LOKUM EXPO exhibition is aimed at uniting landlords and tenants, real estate agents, housing cooperative committees and managers of municipal resources. The products and services of construction, plumbing and electrical companies, suppliers of heat and electricity, manufacturers of software for managing real estate, banks, insurance companies and cleaning and maintenance companies are exhibited in the exhibition.
Support from Polish Ministry of Investment and Development
An important event of the exhibition was the announcement of the Polish Minister of Investment and Development, Jerzy Kwichinski to support the EURO-LIFT exhibition. The Ministry provides financial support for the country’s “Accessibility PLUS” program, which is aimed at ensuring unhindered access to elevators for people with disabilities.
The program "Accessibility PLUS" is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Investment and Development of Poland. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of life of the elderly and people with disabilities. The program, aiming at eliminating infrastructure barriers and obstacles in the public area, began in 2018 and will continue until 2025, with 23 PLN being allocated for its implementation. Most of the funds will be used by companies operating in the production of equipment for moving over short distances.
Representatives of the ministry, as well as the Polish Association of Elevator Manufacturers PEFRON, provided information about funds working with equipment manufacturing companies for the smooth movement of people with disabilities at the exhibition.
