Yormaz Elevator Overcomes Challenges in 2024, Aims for Growth in 2025

Cenk Yormaz, General Manager of Yormaz Asansör, stated that 2024 was a year of economic contraction, high costs and financing problems, but they successfully completed the year with strategic moves. While the recession in the construction sector reflected negatively on the sector, the withdrawal of small-scale companies gave large companies a competitive advantage. Yormaz Asansör strengthened its position as a reliable business partner in cost management and large projects.

Focusing on sustainable energy investments, the company reduced its carbon footprint with the Solar Power Electricity Generation Facility established in its factory. In 2025, it aims to increase the efficiency of the existing system instead of new energy investments.

In line with economic expectations, the sector is expected to revitalize in 2025 as interest rates fall and investment projects increase. Yormaz Asansör plans to reach a wide customer base by increasing its production and assembly capacity in domestic and international projects.

In terms of technology investments, the company focuses on infrastructure optimization in 2024 and prioritizes more efficient use of existing systems in 2025. Touching on the effects of exchange rate fluctuations on the sector, Yormaz stated that competition with low-cost producers has become difficult, but that an advantage can be gained by increasing quality.

For 2025, Yormaz Asansör aims to develop project-based solutions in Georgia and European markets and will focus on export growth strategies. Maintaining its pioneering role in the fields of production, assembly, maintenance and modernization, the company aims to achieve a stronger position in global competition with strategies focused on innovation, technology and sustainability.
