- Robotics minimize the amount of defects and flaws

Yükseliş Asansör accelerates production processes and minimizes deficiencies through the introduction of automated production systems.

While addressing this topic, Mr. Korhan Köse, as the foreign trade and business development specialist at Yükseliş Asansör, said that with the opening of an automatic door factory in 2015, the company began using robotics. Köse said, "In the near future, the company plans to use robotics even more widely at the highest test tower in Turkey and the elevator engine factory."

He said that the use of automated systems not only speeds up production processes, but also minimizes disadvantages and allows the company to offer its customers high-quality and competitive solutions.

Mr. Köse spoke about the transition of Yükseliş Asansör to automated production and the advantage of using robotics, mentioning the following:

“Today, due to the high rates of urbanization and the development of the construction industry throughout the world and, in particular, in Turkey, there is an increase in demand for elevator systems. In this regard, it was necessary for the company to ensure the supply of products for the industry by increasing production capacities and productivity. With the commissioning of the automatic door factory in 2015, we switched to the use of automated systems and offer high quality and productivity products for Turkey and the whole world.

The use of automated systems at the factory significantly accelerated the production process and helped to minimize defects. This allows the company to offer its partners high-quality and competitive solutions. At the same time, automated systems are actively helping to prevent hazards and risks in the field of safety and labor protection at our plant. Thanks to the use of robotics, we managed to eliminate the harmful effects of radiation exposed during welding, as well as the danger posed by powder paint for the respiratory system of workers. In addition, we provide employees with the opportunity to improve their skills and professional development through training in working with automated production systems.

Robotics products are even more compliant with regulatory requirements. At the same time, there are additional advantages in the form of minimizing product shortcomings and reducing production time. This increases the trust of our business partners and customers. Investments in robotics have made us become the most sought-after manufacturers of elevator systems and components in Turkey and all across the world.

From the first years of the fourth industrial revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, the company has kept pace with the development of technology and is a model for followers in the elevator industry. Investments in robotics and scientific and technological developments testify to the breadth of strategic thinking of the company. Cyber-physical systems, intelligent plants and products, Internet facilities and services, as well as cloud technologies are the main areas of work of the department of scientific and technical research and development of the company. Currently, production at our plant is fully controlled by systems created by our own software development team. Our development team is conducting serious research on new systems. In the future, we will fully ensure the digital transformation of production, along with the products manufactured.

Yükseliş Asansör continues to invest in all areas of the elevator industry. In the near future, the company plans an even more intensive use of robotics at the highest test tower in Turkey and the elevator engine factory."
